What's the deal, dog?

I don't get it. After about 8 am on Saturday and Sunday morning, Berkeley can't stand to lay in bed with us, so I get up to keep him from waking Jessica. And what does he do until she gets up? Lays on my lap while I play on the computer or watch TV! Why can't he do this in bed so I can sleep in too?
